Our CNC capabilities allow production of parts and finished products cut out of a variety of sheet materials from .030 to 2.0 inches.

CNC (computer numerical control) processes require a vector or CAD (computer-aided drawing) file. This vector file must be converted to a .dwg or .dxf file for our CAD program, which is then translated for the routing machine's cutting paths.

Our 4' x 8' flat-bed machine cuts the pattern in the sheet, and the cut parts are then finished for assembly or shipping.
Cutting parts with a router bit gives a good edge for gluing and further assembly.
Mr. Plastics recycles scraps, shavings -- everything possible; larger "offcuts" are sold by material type and weight.

CNC vs. Lasercutting: Laser cutting melts the edge and gives a clean, polished finish, however, gluing becomes difficult and can result in crazing at the glued junction.
