Recently, Mike Adelson: President of Mr. Plastics was interviewed on KRON4 News to talk about the COVID19 pandemic and Mr. Plastics response.
Since the shut down came into effect in California: Mr. Plastics has responded swiftly as an essential business. The company has been able to provide plexiglass and protective barriers to numerous health organizations and individuals. The most pressing to start were the PPE needs in hospitals. After hospitals, came other medical facilities likes dental offices. Once more businesses were able to reopen: there was a surge in the need for acrylic materials: either raw materials or fabricated protective barriers (more commonly known as sneeze guards) in offices, restaurants, nail salons, hair salons, retail stores and most recently schools. Mr. Plastics hasn't ever had a shortage of material throughout the entire pandemic, which was due to Mike's strategic business planning.
